Each board is individually handcrafted and carefully sanded to an exceptionally smooth finish. Before the final two sanding stages, the board is water-popped to raise the wood grain, then sanded again. This extra step helps minimize the rough, fuzzy texture that many cutting boards develop after their first wash, giving you a smoother feel right from the start.
Finished with food-safe mineral oil and beeswax, the natural beauty of the walnut, cherry, and maple is enhanced while providing lasting protection. Because every board is handmade from real hardwood, each one features its own unique grain patterns and natural character, making no two exactly alike.
